Our Process At FoV Editions, the heart of our business is producing beautiful, museum-quality giclee prints. We know that all artists have exacting standards and that they expect a fine-art print to capture the richness and detail found in their original work. We are constantly innovating our process at FoV in order to offer the highest quality fine-art prints available. We strategically invest in both technology and training to help us do this for every artist we serve. That being said, the best equipment in the world can't compensate for lack of mastery over the principles of color matching or the skill set necessary to consistently replicate those colors in printed form. Once you try us, you'll see why artists tell other artists about FoV. This really is the difference between our prints and anyone else's.

Image Acquisition Read More
Using either a high-performance digital camera or a fine-art scanner, we electronically "capture" your original artwork, giving us the best possible source of data available to ensure details and colors transfer to prints.

Color Correction Read More
Before you ever come in for a consultation on a proof, our color technicians use sophisticated equipment and techniques to do several rounds of color-correction, comparing their work to your original.
|
|
| |
Proofing Read More
We then arrange for you to meet one-on-one with a color technician to compare a proof with your original. We encourage you to give feedback and suggestions for improvement. We've done our job when you're not sure which is which!

| |
Archiving Read More
Once you've signed a proof, we create a digital backup of the approved file and also give you a CD copy for your records. This ensures that each time you contact us to request prints, we access the archived file you approved.

Printing Read More
Using only pigment inks and museum-quality canvases and papers, we then print as few or as many giclee prints as you need. Customization is encouraged!

|
| |
Finishing Read More
After printing, we then apply a proprietary UV and water-resistant coating to each canvas (and on paper too, if requested) that seals in the colors. This prevents fading, cracking or peeling for as long as someone owns a print.
